Older adults may be suffering from the tremendous loss of friends and loved ones, feelings of isolation, or distress from cognitive decline and dementia. Even when seniors appear to be in good health, their world may be turned upside down by stress, hidden depression and illness. Additionally, caregivers may themselves be suffering from the stress and exhaustion that comes with caring for others.
